Open Door opens new, inclusive facility

Staff and board members, friends and guests recently celebrated the opening of United Methodist Open Door’s new Resource and Referral Center at 402 E. Second Street in downtown Wichita. The new facility is the fruition of a dream and a successful capital campaign, despite difficulties presented by the economic downturn.

GraceMed expands services

GraceMed Health Clinic, which serves underinsured and uninsured patients in Wichita, has added two new services in the past year and is acquiring a new clinic.
Jacquelyn Smith, O.D., joined the GraceMed staff in October 2010, enabling the clinic to offer optometric services.
“There are two rooms for optometric exams now,” said Dave Sanford, GraceMed CEO.
