Zimunya Skills Center Dedication Aug. 14, 2011

Members of the Kansas West teams to Zimbabwe joined together at the dedication of the Zimunya Training and Conference Centre - Mutare District Aug. 14. Bishop Scott Jones and Bishop Eben Nhiwatiwa participated in the ribbon cutting. The project has been constructed in part by volunteers from the Kansas West Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Chimanimani-Chipinge District

The information-gathering team traveling with Bishop Scott Jones visited the Chimanimani-Chipinge District on Aug. 16. This district is partnered with the Dodge City District. It is located in the eastern highlands of Zimbabwe and receives few visitors from the outside. Congregations were thrilled to have guests from the United States visit them.
